We know how important your packages and gifts are. That’s a fact we don’t take lightly at The UPS Store. Certified Packing Experts pack your gifts right and we stand behind our service. Protect your package and add a Pack & Ship Guarantee service to your shipment!  Here’s how our Pack & Ship Guarantee works.

Our Pack & Ship Guarantee

If a participating location packs your item,  and ships it via UPS® and that item is damaged or lost in transit, with our Pack & Ship Guarantee service, you’ll be reimbursed:

  • The item’s value (subject to the lesser of actual value, replacement or repair cost )
  • The full retail price you paid for packaging materials and services, and
  • Your cost for shipping (excluding  Pack & Ship Guarantee charges).

If you do not declare the value of the item at the time of the transaction and do not purchase our Pack & Ship Guarantee for that amount, the shipment shall be at your risk and no reimbursement will be available.

The Pack & Ship Guarantee applies to packages packed by The UPS Store associates, and using only new materials purchased at a participating location and shipped by The UPS Store location that packed it, via UPS® on that Store’s UPS® account to domestic or international destinations serviced by UPS®.*

The Pack & Ship Guarantee does not apply to:

  • Shipments processed through or on your UPS® account
  • Customer-packed packages
  • Items packed in materials provided free-of-charge by any carrier
  • Items excluded or restricted from transportation by UPS® or in violation of the UPS Tariff/Terms and Conditions of Service

    Call ahead and ask any centre associate if that location offers the Pack & Ship Guarantee.

  • What do I need to do to have my packages protected by the Pack & Ship Guarantee?

    Just take your item to a participating location and let The UPS Store Certified Packing Experts® handle the rest. We will professionally pack and ship your item via UPS®. You should know the value of your item to enjoy this program.

  • Does the Pack & Ship Guarantee cost extra?

    Yes. The centre associates will be able to tell you the costs for your particular shipments.
