Printing, Packing, Shipping & Mailbox Services

A traditional The UPS Store can be found in all kinds of neighbourhoods and setting across Canada. They can be found on a main street in an urban, suburban or rural market. They may be located in shopping plazas or business parks. Regardless of where they are located, The UPS Stores are situated where they are needed most by the customers that surround them.

A traditional The UPS Store franchise would typically be a full‐service print and business centre. A full‐ service centre would provide for packing and shipping services. The shipping services offered would be both domestic and international, with delivery offered by UPS and other brand name couriers as well. Printing services would also be available in store, along with graphic design services and document finishing services. Most traditional locations will also offer wide format printing on site. In addition, mailbox rentals for both personal and professional customers would be available, most with 24 hour access. On‐site secure shredding services would also be available within a traditional location.

A traditional location would range in size from 800 to 1200 square feet depending on where the store is situated. It would typically have glass frontage of 20 to 25 feet, plus rear door entry for delivery and pick up. Each location will have defined territory that is assessed individually by The UPS Store Canada corporate office. The Home Office team will help facilitate the location’s design and construction. We’ll evaluate the size and shape of the location to create a custom floor plan. We coordinate with local contractors to procure all construction permits and bids, as well as order and install equipment and fixtures. This helps us ensure consistency throughout our network.
