The total start up cost for the Walmart store-in-store program is $85,000* per location. This is a multi-unit offering only, requiring a minimum commitment of 5 units. This includes the franchise fee for a five (5) year term, plus centre buildout, equipment and training. Operating costs will vary based on type of centre, location, size, and lease and labour rates. Working capital is additional and estimated at $40,000 per location. Note also that there is a minimum 50% cash investment required to qualify.*

Required operating hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm plus Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm without exception. Unlike a traditional centre, this solution will enjoy lower occupancy costs – just 8% of sales or $1,300 per month, which ever is higher*. That includes heating and electricity. Also unlike a traditional centre, this solution also has lower equipment lease payments as just one full-colour production printer required in store. Most importantly, this a multi unit offering only and requires a minimum investment of 5 units to be considered for this opportunity.
