Buying a franchise can be one of the most rewarding business decisions you will ever make. To give you a better understanding of what you can expect from The UPS Store, we’ve broken the process down into four easy steps: Application, Evaluation, Due Diligence and Approval.
What Are The Steps To Approval?
- Application. During this stage you will have the opportunity to complete a formal application for consideration to become a The UPS Store franchisee. Completing an application does not obligate you in any way.
- Application Evaluation. You’ll have your first interview with a representative from the Franchise Development team. You will also be provided with a Franchise Disclosure Document for review.
- Due Diligence & Funding. Due diligence is where we encourage you to speak to existing franchisees about The UPS Store business opportunity to help gauge if this is the right opportunity for you. Following this, we will hold a second, more formal interview with you and provide you with the opportunity for guided store visits to outline the whole of the opportunity in more detail. You will need to be prepared to share your personal financial documents and submit your Initial Application and deposit at this time.
- Approval. Once your approval is granted, you will then be able to finalize your financing, location, site lease and sign the franchise agreements. Then you’re onto the final stage, where you attend training, build out the centre and prepare for your official opening.
