President and Chief Executive Officer
David Druker was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of MBEC Communications Inc. on May 1st, 2008. Previously he had acquired the Area Franchise Rights for THE UPS STORE for the Province of Quebec in 2005. Prior to that Mr. Druker worked with Cellular Solution and Cantel (now Rogers Wireless) in the telecommunications industry for nineteen years. As Cellular Solution’s first franchisee in 1993, he eventually owned and operated multiple franchise locations in Ontario and Quebec which at its peak was a network with more than $10 million in annual sales and 110 employees.
Senior Vice-President, Franchise Operations
Steve Moorman joined MBE Canada in July 1993 as the Director of Franchise Development and Centre Operations. Prior to joining MBE Canada, Mr. Moorman held the position of Centre Operations Manager for Mail Boxes Etc. USA, Inc. (the former franchisor company). Mr. Moorman worked with Mail Boxes Etc. USA, Inc. from September 1988 to June 1993. Mr. Moorman is a former franchisee of Mail Boxes Etc. USA, Inc. having opened the second franchise location in Solana Beach, California in October 1980.
Executive Vice-President and Corporate Counsel
Ronald Boratto is a solicitor licensed pursuant to the Laws of the Province of Ontario. He has operated as special franchise and corporate counsel to MBE Canada since June of 1996 and was appointed Executive Vice President and Corporate Counsel on May 1st, 2003. Mr. Boratto has more than 30 years experience as franchise counsel.
Director of Marketing
Michelle Cameron first joined the company in March of 2004 as Project Manger and has grown with the company, into her role as Director of Marketing. In 2005, Michelle was part of the team that introduced Canada to The UPS Store brand. Prior to joining The UPS Store Home Office, Michelle enjoyed working in media.
National Director, Area Operations & Franchise Sales
Chati Narayan first joined MBEC Communications Inc. in September 2007, and in his role, oversaw all Area Operations & Franchise Development for the company. In September 2011, Chati left the company to take on the position in another company. In May of 2013, Chati returned to MBEC Communications L.P. as National Director, Area Operations. Mr. Narayan brings a history of franchise and business operations experience dating back more than 30 years.
